Position Overview
The Senior Apparel Production Coordinator plays a key role in managing the end-to-end production lifecycle for assigned product categories, ensuring on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and consistent product quality. This role manages multiple concurrent production orders, maintains production data across business systems, and collaborates closely with overseas factories and cross-functional teams to achieve production and delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the full production process from purchase order issuance through final delivery.

Communicate daily with overseas vendors to monitor WIP status, confirm production milestones, and proactively resolve production issues.

Maintain production calendars, WIP reports, shipment tracking, and production documentation to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Enter and maintain production data within ERP, PLM, inventory management, or related business systems.

Monitor production schedules and identify delivery risks, order discrepancies, or capacity constraints; communicate recommended corrective actions.

Analyze production data and prepare reports using Microsoft Excel to support planning, tracking, and operational decision-making.

Partner closely with design, sourcing, sales, logistics, and customer service teams to support seasonal development, approvals, and delivery targets.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes, production timelines, costing considerations, and factory workflows.

Manage a high volume of concurrent purchase orders and production orders while consistently meeting production deadlines.
Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in apparel production, production coordination, sourcing, or production administration.

Demonstrated experience managing a high volume of concurrent purchase orders and/or production orders while consistently meeting production deadlines.

Experience maintaining production calendars, work-in-process (WIP) reports, shipment tracking, and vendor communications.

Experience working with ERP, PLM, inventory management, or production management systems.

Demonstrated ability to identify production schedule variances, delivery risks, and order discrepancies and proactively communicate solutions.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and other commonly used formulas, as well as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).

Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) language proficiency preferred, but not required.
