Position Overview  

Well established intimate apparel company looking for a fashion designer to join our expanding company. Please be CAD/Illustrator savvy, detail-oriented, have good communication skills, and a team player. 

Our brands have garnered accolades and rave reviews from both shoppers and buyers across the U.S. and abroad. Our customers include regional department stores, national chains, and specialty stores. In addition to our own brands, we do private label for major domestic and international retailers. 

Responsibilities 

  • * Design and development collections for multiple product categories 

  • *Trend research and presentation 

  • * Create flat sketches on computer 

  • * Design and development of colors, prints and fabric simulations 

  • * Creating original prints, tags, and packaging materials as needed 

  • * Present materials needed for market and private label clients 

  • * Supports product development team's calendar 

  • * Communicates extensively with sales and production teams 

Qualifications 

  • * 5+ years experience in fashion design 

  • * Degree in fashion design or related field 

  • * Ability to translate and design based on trends relevant to target markets 

  • * Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross functional partners 

  • * Strong/advance experience using CAD and graphic technology ie Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop- A MUST! 

  • * Strong fashion and color sense 

  • * Knowledge of print and textile design 

  • * Self-starter and can work independently with minimal supervision 

  • * Strong collaboration and leadership skills 

  • *Confident and comfortable in in person and video line presentations
